The 2011 offers all the attributes of a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, punchy aromatics packed with tropical fruit and fresh gooseberry and a crisp racy finish.
This wine was sourced from 3 Marlborough vineyards, 60% from the deep soils of our Sugar Loaf Home Block, 30% from a Stony Awatere Valley Site and a small portion from the lower Wairau Valley - a vineyard renowned for producing rich 'sweaty' characters.
These three sites all contribute unique regional flavours to produce a finely balanced, intense wine.
The palate is clean and crisp, polished with good length and lemon citrus flavours
