Sugar Loaf wines is a small family owned winery in the heart of Marlborough's classic wine growing region, Rapaura. With a focus on premium small batch production we aim to handcraft wines that represent the true regional flavours of the vineyards from which they are selected.
This riesling was sourced from our Awatere Valley vineyard where cool temperatures give a long, slow ripening period, concentrating flavour whilst maintaining acidity. The wine shows lifted floral and lime notes with ripe citrus and subtle Asian spice on the palate balanced by a seamless acid backbone. Just off dry in style.
Perfect with Asian or slightly spicy food.
