Sugar Loaf Pinot Noir 2010, MarlboroughOne of our top selling Pinot Noirs from the very popular Sugar Loaf winery in New Zealand.
The name Sugar Loaf comes from the Islands which lie off the Taranaki coastline, where Sugar Loaf founder Kate Hayward grew up. The islands are the eroded remnants of the earliest volcanic activity in Taranaki, today they are a marine reserve - home to sea birds, fur seals & penguins.
A deliciously soft Pinot Noir with delicate red-berry and spice aromas. Gentle oak influence has imparted rich, savoury characters and subtle, elegant tannins.
