Pouilly Fume La Rambarde 2010The La Rambarde 2010 is a white wine, made by Domaine Landrat-Guyollot. Its origin is Pouilly-Fumé in Upper Loire, Loire Valley and made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. It is produced from the 2007 harvest. This is a flinty, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc from a well-regarded estate that's been handed down from mother to daughter for ten generations, making this wine a unique gift for Mothers' Day. The term La Rambarde refers to the flat-bottomed boat once used to float wines down the Seine River to Paris.
