Domaine de Cateslnau is situated at ten kilometers from the Thau Lagoon, near by Pezenas and Herault River.

In the past 10 years a huge restructuring has taken place on fifty hectares : removing low quality varieties and planting aromatic varieties ( Chardonnay, Viognier, Colombard, Syrah, Merlot, etc ) improving trellising systems, grassing plots with hight warter potential and planting of 10 acres of Syrah on the limestome hills of the Castelnau de Guers garrigues. Today the property is focused on producing wines from Pays d'Oc varietals.

The objective of winemaking is to stick the desires of customers : fruity, easy drinking varietal and typicity easly identfiable.  White and red grapes are harvested during night to maintain maximum freshness and aromas on the lees to develop well balanced mouth ; cold prefermentation and gentle extraction on the reds to reveal the fruit and the roundness of tannins.
