Situated in the Mediterranean Garrigue, the winery is distinguished by its proximity to the Mediterrean Sea and its South East / East exposure. The inland side of the vineyard is surrounded by the cliffs of La Clape - La Clape is the appellation in the Languedoc where it is situated. While the cliffs protect the grapes from the drying north winds, the cool breeze from the sea ensures the balance and freshness of the vines. The soil is predominantly clay and limestone and allows the production of rich, powerful and aromatic Grenache, Syrah & Mourvedre based wines. At the entrance to the estate there is an area of sandy-silty soil which produces delicate and elegant red and white wines. The oldest vines on the estate date back to 1928.
