Lovely Grand Cru red Burgundy from the great producer Louis Jadot. This classy Pinot Noir is showing lovely roundness, succulent red berry fruit and some earthy notes. Enjoy with a good beef stew or mature Epoisse cheese.

Noticeable if not intrusive wood frames earthy, sweet and dried flower aromas that continue onto the elegant, pure and detailed flavors that display ample minerality and outstanding length. Pougets is naturally a much finer Corton (if chardonnay is planted here is can be declared as Corton-Charlemagne) and true to form, this is firmly structured but the tannins are really very fine. In short, this is powerful yet it remains essentially a wine of finesse.
