Perez Cruz QuelenQuelen is a blend of petit verdot, carmenere and cot. These varietals were formerly part of the wines of Bordeaux, however, today they are rarely used or only represent a small amount in their blends. This wine is unique not only for the novelty of blending these varietals, but also for the search of it's origins. Fourteen months of ageing in French barrels. The aromas of this wine are elegant and complex, evoking a distict wine that combines traditional and modern styles. It has prominent notes of red fruits, tobacco, spices and a unique mineral note. On the palate, it is a concentrated wine with soft tannins and a long and persistent finish with abundant mineral notes.
