Cerrado Del Castillo 2004'The 2004 Cerrado del Castillo de Cuzcurrita is sourced from a single vineyard, bottled separately only in the finest years. It encompasses 5.5 acres of 37-year-old vines. The wine was aged for 15 months in seasoned French oak. Purple-colored, the nose reveals an array of cedar, mineral, scorched earth, balsamic, and assorted black fruits. On the palate the wine is layered, potentially complex, spicy, long, and well-balanced. It has 5-7 years of aging potential and should drink well through 2030.' 93+ Robert Parker
