This soft Pinot Noir has an average age of 55 years, matured for 11 months in oak barrels, 10 to 20% of which are new.

A village situated in-between Meursault and Volnay. Matrot's vineyard is oriented towards the southeast  and has yields that are low. This concentrated wine with aromas of red fruit is a perfect accompaniment to grilled poultry, rib of beef and barbecue. A summer wine while young. After five to seven years with ideal home-cooking dishes such as pot-au-feu beef hash or to Parmentier. A great wine to enjoy with friends.
